On this page I will write about what I am working on personally in a fitness sense and any challenges that I’m training for. Hopefully it will give you something that you can relate to or will motivate you…..
The first one I am working on during Coronavirus lockdown is the 30 day pull up challenge which I purchased from ‘Redefining Strength’. I have always been fairly strong but due to illness, Christmas and then training for a half marathon, my strength had pretty much all but disappeared. I’d found that I was no longer any good at press-ups, bench press and triceps dips which is pretty demoralising when you’re a personal trainer and I did wonder whether I could get this back.
But I have never been able to do a pull up. So when I found the 30 day pull up challenge programme, I thought that it was worth giving it a go. Well what else do you do when you have a bit of spare time on your hands….
You have to do a pull up test at the beginning, mid programme and at the end of the 30 days and I will film each of these to show my progress. The first video is below and is honestly quite embarrassing but I will go with it and hope for some serious improvements!
